Traveling to the US while case is Pending

Folks I was able to travel to the US yesterday with very little trouble while case is pending.it is very important that you present a lot of proof. Here is my experience. The first officer I encountered acuse me of living in the US ilegaly after I advised him that i was visiting my spouse. He then made me goto to the main office where the search my car and then Questioned me. It is very important to stay calm because they try to radle you with all sort of accusations and hope that you break. After all the questions i advised the officer that i ubderstood that the burden of proof is one me and handed him and evelop full of about 20 pages. It contain paystubs for this year. My 2007 Canadian income tax return, Job letter, Mortgage information, car insurance , home insurance. After about 10 minutes of looking through my documents he handed it back to me and wish me a safe journey. Oh by the way i was also driving a car with a US plate that my wife left with me because of an ilness that made it imposible to drive back.
