If she didn't, she can always amend it before your interview (and preferably before the AOS package is sent to NVC)

So I met with our lawyer after we got our petition approved and she laid it out for me like this.

1. We wait for our case number with the NVC and they will send the bill for the fees as well as a list of documents we need, which can take up to one month.

2. We pay the fees and send the documents for review, which can take up to 90 days to review.

3. We receive something with our interview date, which is usually 1 month out.

 

So....5 months worst case scenario. Is that what everyone else's experience has been like?

Current time frame to get a case number with NVC is 8 weeks, so you will need to add another month or so.
