Hello UMD92, Because you have until April this year to file 2017 Tax’s you can use 2016, 2015 & 2014 for the last 3 years. Then you can make a copy of your W2 for 2017 showing your income for the entire year of 2017. You can also supply 3 months of current paystubs... If you file your documents to NVC after April deadline filing then you have to simply write a letter explaining your situation..

Hope this helps.. I just got done with NVC so all is fresh in my mind..

Thanks very much for your answer.

I have already filed my taxes for the year 2017 and I got the transcript as well. Transcript only shows the Half amount(EX: 15000) (I made from July to February). I have my pay stubs (from a new job) and taxes from 2015,2016, & 2017. For my MOST recent taxes, I would like to use my 2017 tax return and for that what amount should I enter in 19a? Amount my transcript reflects which I made from Jul to FEB or Yearly income (New JOB)?

Good afternoon guys...

This was something I had been running away from, but finally between yesterday and today I have already prepared it, and I have to really say that I only need 2 documents to ask my country: Cuba. And the documents of my wife's AOS that we will request once the NOA2 arrives, I made a complete guide of the steps to follow in the NVC stage and the cover letters of AOS and package IV are already advanced. date and my case number once assigned.
At the same time, the document that is ready, birth certificate, is scanned and waiting, the photocopy of the biographical page of the passport is scanned and waiting, and the questions that required memory for the DS-260 are also answered.
I did a spoon-based guide for myself based and adjusted to my case, and I have learned a lot of things in these 2 days!
It is my advice to those people whose NOA2 is eventually close, my PD is August 24.
Greetings to all.Jhonny.

Hi Jhonny! I’m an October filer but I’ve been following the August thread coz it keeps me going... I’m in India with my 9 month old baby and my husband is in US since 5 months... I can’t wait to see him.. You have been so positive and supportive to others that it’s really worth an appreciation.. Thanks for being there and do hang in there even later for us.. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 all the best to you and your family.. 😇 God bless us all..

Keep the dance going...

In box 19a it states yearly income, so place your 2017 yearly income for 2017. If you want to use your most recent tax transcript of 2017, 2016 and 2015 then that’s fine but also write a letter explaining of your new job and supply your W2 and 3 months pay stubs.

What also helps is to get a letter from your employer with a company letter head stating what your salary, position with the company is and if you have any benefits such as health insurance that you will supply to your Spouse once arrived in USA. HR Dept of your company should be able to type you that letter and be sure it is signed, not just stamped with who they are in the company.

Thank you very much! I really appreciated.

In the year 2017, I made less than the amount is required to support petitioner. Should I enter that amount? or Yearly income I make on my new job?

This link is what you need:

Certainly, you can start gathering documents on your side (for the IV package) and your wife would have to do the same (for the AOS package). Actually, I think there is no need for you to do hardcopy mail since you can just scan everything and have her print out. But she would have to send you originals of the AOS documents (tax transcripts, pay stubs, employment letter etc.) As for police certificate, I haven't gotten mine yet because I need NVC's letter to get the police certificate.

Good Morning guys, I Just Wake up, it´s holiday today here in Bogota (one of many).

This is why I created this thread, even after receiving the RFE !

NVC stage requires of the people to be proactive instead of reactive!

Try to have your police records ASAP (I´m going to pick up mine of Colombia tomorrow) and in the next 2-3 weeks I´m going to receive the one from Cuba!

Take the advise of @ms_bobdog too, not only you (your wife should be starting to have she´s documents too) and try to send it those originals to you (remember, only at the Embassy Stage you will be required to PRESENT the originals) the other stages they only need copies!

So about the marrigae certificate, police records send her the copies (make a scan in full resolution) and send her thru e-mail, that´s just what I did for my RFE yesterday!

Your wife needs to complete the AOS package and you the IV package.

I´m trying to upload an image of the cover sheet, but the site doesn´t let me! I wil, try in a minutes.
