Hi all,

Random thread idea for the day - what was the first (or one of the first) conversation topics you spoke to your SO about? Whether through an email (like in our case, as we met through an online dating website), or a chat in person. In our case, it was our mutual love of the actor Gary Oldman, as we'd both listed him as one of our favorites on our profiles! We hope to meet him one day (trying to pull a few strings to go to one of the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix launch parties), and let him know that it's thanks to him that we're together! Hell, we've decided that if he agreed to be Godfather to one of our kids we'd name them after him :lol:

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

It was in romania, we had an argument over which was more beautiful, Herculane or Brasov :)

we just met, had no clue who eachother were until AFTER the argument and we introduced ourselves :P

For us it was an instruction session on the finer points of "popice" which is a form of bowling (ninepins). The rest as they say...is history! :luv:

We talked about God in the first conversation. In fact, his first words typed to me were "do you love God?" because he wanted to talk to someone who wanted to talk about God and things he was thinking about/questions related to God. I said yes, and it started from there.
