Make sure you use IMMIGRANT and your NVC case number. If nothing, then wait a day.

@Wuozopo do you possibly have any good links for UK filers as far as what to expect after NO2 like the interview and medical? I saw a link on here for Canada just looking to get more and more educated on this process.

IDK man. I filed my taxes and got my return already. I ordered the transcript from the IRS and have already filled out he affidavit. I would ask your employer to write a new letter clarifying that in 2017 you made x amount, but that amount will be y in 2018. That way they have a very cut and dry standard.

This is why I am spending the money to go to the interview.  That plus a much needed visit!  They can ask me all the questions they need to and I can have any piece of paper they can possible request with me!  Just because your salary is a certain amount does not mean that is how much you will earn by the time the year is over once they take out for union dues, your deferred comp retirement account, and any unpaid sick time you have to take.  It is safe to give a more actual representation than to over exaggerate.  I guess I can explain that to them.  It is a good idea to get a letter telling them what my 2017 salary would have been.

Yes and Probably Yes

You'll get an email from the embassy with all the instructions attached on how to log on to the system, make the fee payment, and schedule your interview. For Bucharest they require the medical at least seven days before the interview, not sure what it will be in Moldova.

If you are the petitioner, you'll need the bank letter to prove assets on the I-134. If you are the beneficiary, then no, you don't need to provide a bank statement.

Thank you so much!

Now I need to figure out where the medical exam can be done.

I posted one in this thread. Click that to go back to it. It's your instructions from the embassy, not a VJ LINK.

While waiting for Case Number I already filled up the DS160, and this confirmation made me confuse. Does this mean that we need to get the Hard copy of NOA2 from  our fiancée or maybe they can just scan it and send through email?

NVC Number received via E-Mail today. I am of the option 5 group. Listed it as expedited and sent straight to the embassy, though I never put in a request for expedite.

Hi guys!

I hate to ask this, because even though I googled and stalked the thread, I STILL have no idea what I am doing. Lmao.

I got our NOA2 on February 6, called NVC today, and they have our visa and our NVC case and invoice number. The status of the visa is "At NVC."

So... I don't know what to do next. I am getting the paperwork and all that done, but does this mean we can file the DS-160? Or pay the fee? I am so lost. I heard you can't do that until it says "ready" and how long does that usually take?
Thank you guys for everything. I am just SO ready to get my Brit here already!

Met 4/19/12, Engaged 8/15/2016, Married sometime in 2018!

Sent I-129F: 7/24/2017

NOA1: 7/27/2017

NOA2: 2/6/2018

I can't wait to be Mrs. Hook!

You aren't meant to figure this out on your own. Your consulate London will notify your Brit by mail when they are ready for him to do the next steps and provide him with instructions for London. Sometimes you can actually mess things up by jumping ahead before the consulate even knows about him and has your case set up in their system. Your instructions are laid out on the London embassy website here

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/ (already posted twice in this thread)

Follow them in order Step 1, Step 2....  and don't do anything until he hears from London for best results. Use their instructions to know what's coming up so he can be collecting his documents, seeing his GP for shot records/shots and his medical summary, getting passport size photos, and your affidavit of support. Work on those things and he'll be ahead when he gets the go ahead from London.
