That sounds about right. When I called the guy told me that it will take 6 weeks to get my case so I don't have to call until at least 6 weeks have passed. I called two days later and I got my case number.

Wow really? Was your case in the new system, or old system? I just rang NVC, apparently my case is in the new system, so I had to dial option 5, and they received my case on Friday (NOA2 March 2nd) and when I asked for case number they said to wait 6 weeks, but I need it to schedule my interview ASAP, so would be amazing if it's ready this week

I called NVC again today. The rep just said "we have your case since March 12th. We're working on creating you a case #. Anything else, ma'am?". I'm just anxious to give them my and my fiance's email address, cause I'm not sure they have it. I should be patient, but I'm thinking about calling again later on tonight hahaha

Also waiting for my case number! NVC received my file on Friday, March 16th, so I guess it will not be ready in a couple of days, but hopefully won't be more than a week

I called last Friday, the rep said something like "keep in touch, we're getting your case ready soon". I just called again a minute ago and still no case number. I just hope they send it to the consulate right away. My case is at nvc for a week now. They received it last monday. I think I'm gonna try again tonight

Has anyone here going to Manila for Med had success contacting them by phone?  If so, what number/ext did you use?  We have been trying the numbers/ext listed on the SLEC site during business hours, but no one answers.

They don't answer their phone. You can email but answer is a week to 10 days away.

Hi guys, really need your help. So i recieved my letter stating that the london embassy has recieved my approved petition. I'm just getting everything ready and wanted to schedule my interview for may as thats when my fiance can come to see me in london. Problem is there is only one date showing as available when i try and schedule and that's march 29th...

I don't want to schedule that early as I'm going to paris with my inlaws in july and i want to move in september.... How long can i wait to schedule interview before the embassy throws out my petition and considers it to be abandoned? :( thanks!

Is there a way to schedule the interview at a later date?

PLEASE HELP!

Can anyone who recently had their medical state what questions you had to answer either written or from doctor about previous meds you have been prescribed (not current) or previous dr/phyc visits?  Also around mental health besides the ones about if you have ever inflicted harm to yourself or others?

Thank God! I finally got our case number at nvc. But the rep didn't want to update mine and my fiance's email address. Has someone tried to do so over the phone? She said I could do it online in the public inquiry form, but the form doesn't give that option.

I Found this form online.  Is this what you had to fill out at medical (especially Manila)? anything else?
