Hi so when’s the latest I can book my medical and interview before it gets expired?

SLEC lists the NVC letter (with case file number) either/or the appointment confirmation page from the appointment website (print a screen shot for SLEC). The DS-160 confirmation page (copy) is requested for the next day to avail of the vaccinations.

 

Medical is a two day process at SLEC. If she goes on Friday she will probably not finish her exam and will have to return on Monday for vaccinations.

This thread may help her and you to understand the process at SLEC so you can make decisions what is best for you guys.

She is heading to the post office to pay the fee then we schedule the interview date tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations😀,. We got our nvc mnl# same date as yours 03/07 but our case still at nvc.

call them, tell them they need to send the file. according to my lawyer it supposed to be within 3 days of getting a case number, the snow storms caused delays and they are doing the recent cases, they need to do the cases that were prior. when my lawyer called on Friday, that night mine went to transit and now is ready. logging in the embassy site now to schedule the interview

We received our NOA2 on February 23. Still no NVC Case Number

Yes, I tried that 3 days after we got our NOA2 then we got a response 2 weeks after with case number on it. I actually print the response and take that with me on my medical at SLEC, I followed @Greenbaum advice and it really works. This coming Thursday will be my interview date. Goodluck to me and my kids. 😊

Keep on calling them and asks them what is the status of your case. Our case says ready after a week that we got our case number.

We have an agency thats working on our paper,.but my fiance is the one whos always calling the nvc for update.

 

Im getting my nbi earlier but im not lucky to get it today cause computer say "with hit" means i have a same name which i need to go back april 11. I cant go to interview without the nbi right?

NBI is required. You won't be able to clear this up in a timely fashion so get a copy to take to the interview. CO will issue you an RFE and you can take it to the NBI to get this straighten out. They will move much faster knowing that USEM is asking for a clean NBI. RFE will set you back 2 to 3 weeks for finale approval.

Thanks,.We didnt schedule my interview yet according to my agency my fiance need to send his taxes and w2's first.

Since the filing of taxes for 2017 is not required until April 15th then you will use 2016 for the interview. The CO will except 2016. Most often USEM is not asking for financials but according to the Embassy Letter they can ask for them so be sure you have them with you for the interview.

 

You can book your interview now if you have your MNL#. No need to wait.

Has anyone here going to Manila for Med had success contacting them by phone?  If so, what number/ext did you use?  We have been trying the numbers/ext listed on the SLEC site during business hours, but no one answers.
