Do you have to wait to get packet 3 in the mail to submit your documents or can you send them once your NVC status says ready?

No... I think my fiancée will do that tomorrow if he has some time. So frustrating =/

It took 16 days for uscis to send ours to the nvc and( noa2 aug 21 nvc received mar 08) we got the case # next day that is March 09 but our case is still at the nvc

Hi. Have been following this thread for a while. Feb 26th NOA2, thank God. I called them last Friday and today, they said they hadn't received my case yet. I asked them if I could give them my fiance's email address and my email address as well (because it says in their website that if we're not sure they have it we shouldn't call and give it to them) but they said she would get my email address from me only when they received my case. Has anyone who got email from nvc given their email address over the phone ordoes USCIS send it to them with our approved petition? Cause it says in their website that - obviously - we should hear from them faster through email.

Have anyone of you been on “Ready” in the embassy, but yet not received the email from the NVC? 

 

My case says ready, but I have yet received the email from NVC. I’m getting so frustrated at this point.

Fastest way is to keep calling them everyday to see if they received your case. Like USCIS, NVC doesn't send an email sometimes. Call USCIS to see if they've sent your case too.

Can't we just fill out the DS-160 and schedule the interview whenever it says ready? Do we have to wait for them to email us?

Every embassy is different. I did the DS-160 and scheduled the interview. But in order for my fiancé to do his medical we need the NVC letter. 😩😩

Oh I see. I hope you get it very soon. I don't know if we have to wait for an email to schedule the interview or the medical here in Brasil. I thought once we had the case# and it said 'ready' we were good to go.

I also have no idea what we need for medical here in Brazil. We spend so much time waiting for noa2 that now everything seems overwhelming!

same here... ours still say "At NVC" is it good to call and follow up

NOA2 approved Feb 2.

Case number assigned Feb 22.

Case last updated March 5.

Says "Ready" but not a word from NVC or Embassy yet..

Hi! Our Noa2 is also feb 26th. My fiance (who is in the US) called today and our case is at NVC already. No email or letter yet, online it says "At the NVC".

and now march 13  case was in transit to philippine embasy !!!!!! 🎉
