I called a couple of hours ago and they said they just got my case today 3/9.  Feb 22 Noa 2.  They told me to call back in a couple weeks.  Guess I didn't get one of the people who will assign a number while on the phone. Darn

I can't get the passport photo to be uploaded on the DS-160. Has anyone actually done it?? I did a high quality scan and got this error.

they don't assign while on the phone, the calls is to the call center for NVC at the NVC. Call Tuesday after 3pm and you should have the case number.

how long is the normal wait for "at NVC"  to "transit" ?

We were approved the 24th.  After the 3rd day of calling USCIS, I was finally told my petition had been forwarded to NVC yesterday.  NVC still has not received.  The lady I talked to the first day, first asked if I had called NVC yet to see if they had received it already and I stupidly said not yet.  Then she said call them and if they have not received it, call back and we can mark your petition as "time sensitive".  So I called back USCIS back the next day and mentioned that to the agent.  The agent I got that day just give me the stand wait time and didn't acknowledge that he could mark it "time sensitive" when I asked, but it did get mailed out the next day.  Maybe connected or maybe not, but this was the first I had heard of this.

"time sensitive" could mean that they have to send it within a certain time frame of being approved. could be that it missed the mail truck and will be on the next shipment. they mail these once every two weeks to NVC.

They told someone else on this thread that they sent theirs to NVC this past Monday. If they sent yours yesterday that wouldn't line up with only one shipment every 2 weeks. I wish we would stop getting different information every single time we call.

That lines up with what one of the users was told about theirs being sent on a Monday but idk why someone else was told theirs was sent yesterday then.

I was told by USCIS my case was sent on Feb. 27th, a Tuesday. Maybe different departments have different ship truck load days?

so if is “ READY” does it mean it is already in the consulate or in US EMBASSY right?
