Guys I know I read somewhere that wet signatures were required for some of the evidence needed.  I don't have anything I can cite though as proof...just that this entire time I accounted for the fact that I would need to make sure I made time to mail certain items, because they had to be wet signature.

I sent Tiger the Affidavit of Support, updated Intent to Marry letter, and letters from my employer, all signed originals, with copies kept on my end.  It was about $12 at the post office (when FedEx and UPS had been quoting me $80+ to ship to Australia.)

I'll keep sniffing around and hopefully I can find wherever it was that said that.

Until then, my personal advice would be, if it doesn't present an undue financial/time burden, send originals.  Better to have and not need than need and not have, as Tiger likes to say...

I asked my co-sponsor to send me a wet signature on the I-134, but we were so worried it wouldn't arrive in time (it took two weeks to get here ugh). So we asked the Romanian embassy if it needed to be a wet signature and they were like, surprisingly chill about it. Like, nah, it can be scanned and emailed to you and you can print it and bring it. Also, they told me because I have a co-sponsor, I don't need to bring any financial documents at all, just my copy of the I-134. I guess every embassy is different. I have been so stressed over getting EVERY PIECE OF EVIDENCE (financial, relationship, etc). I guess I'll know on Wednesday if it worked :)

I just got the MNL Case number today from NVC, the representative told me that they are sending the file electronically and physically to the US Embassy, US Embassy will only send Packet 3 as soon as they receive the Physical File. We all know that it takes awhile before they will receive the File from NVC.

Question is, can I start doing the medical and interview appointment as soon the status of our case change to READY from IN TRANSIT without receiving any email or packet 3 from the embassy?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Contact US Embassy in Israel and tell them your situation. Follow their advise.

Advise to everyone who needs Police Certificates from other countries:

Start as soon as possible, you can do this right after submitting I-129F form.

If a US Embassy is helping in obtaining the certificate, they most likely going to ask your Approval Notice. This is NOA2, do not wait until NVC process and try to give them case #.

This could have saved us 2-3 weeks now.

I should have read your advice much earlier. 🤣 all concentration on noa2 before, lol. I’m in NVC process. Really worried it will not arrive on time...

I scheduled the Fingerprint's appointment and the interview. That's how it's done in the Dominican Republic, I believe it's not the same with every country!

For cases that will be forwarded in Manila, you can proceed with medical while waiting for the actual physical letter from NVC if you can provide a piece of document or email from NVC showing your case number. It is taking sometime yes but what I did is I emailed NVC to email us our details with case number. They replied after almost two weeks now I can do my medical on Monday while our paper is in transit. Good luck!

It happened all so quickly. We got approved Feb 5, the NVC already gave us our case number, and for some reason we got an e-mail from the NVC stating that the Montreal U.S. embassy accepted that our case be expedited... My fiancé and I never asked for our case to be expedited lol... Basically it says that the Montreal U.S. embassy is Ready for us to set up an interview since Feb 27, but we must send our packet 3 to them first.  ( I still haven't received a letter in the mail from the embassy though)

My fiance won't be able to assist to the interview, and we are planning for him to write a letter that I can show it in the interview. He'd be explaining why he can't come and all of that. What do you think?

Hi All,

Just wanted to know a few things. I just choose an agent on Friday. What are the next few steps. I have to mail documents to NVC, how long will it take to schedule an interview for my husband?

After the interview hoe long does it take to get his psychical green card as I believe it will be mailed to my address in the US.
