Gotcha. Thank you both, was worried it was just me.

It's not!

The day that we got our case # it took almost 8 hours to populate onto the website. Other days it just wouldn't load it.

Hey guys I have a quick question. Once I get my case number from the NVC can I schedule the medical exams for my fiance? Or do I have to wait for an actual interview appointment?

It differs by location. For my fiance, he had to wait until it was received by the London embassy before he could schedule his medical.

You might want to ask there if no one can help here!

I just checked the embassy website (don't know why I didn't do that before) and it looks like I need the interview appointment. I'm just so anxious I wanted to get everything in advanced.

I know, it's a pain. I wish I had more information at my fingertips for you, but at this point it's all touch and go. Have you already gathered all of your other required documents?

We just got our NOA2 so we're knocking them out one by one. The single status certificate is next on our list.

In Mexico is necessary also the Appointment letter for medical exam.

Am I able to scan/send my I-134 down to my fiancé?  We are going through the consulate in Rio.  I would prefer to scan (color) and send everything via e-mail to her instead of mail.  It is $124 to mail and a crapshoot of when it will actually arrive.  Could be weeks or over a month until it would arrive which would cause us to miss the interview

I could be wrong, but I think you have to have a wet signature. @Naes @John & Rose can you advise?

I'm tired of hearing the NVC waiting music and I've only been waiting 9 days. Calling everyday 🙄 Seems like there haven't been many cases moving along recently judging from the NVC tracker spreadsheet?

I do not believe wet signatures are required.  It doesn't need to be notarized.  The way I read this a copy is allowed as long as the wet signature can be presented if needed.  It must be signed but a copy is acceptable.

NOTE: Signing Form I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law. For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, or to have your signature notarized after you sign it.

Signature. Each af davit must be properly signed and led. For all signatures on this af davit, USCIS will not accept a stamped or typewritten name in place of a signature. If you are under 14 years of age, your parent or legal guardian may sign the af davit on your behalf. A legal guardian may also sign for a mentally incompetent person.

Copies. You should submit legible photocopies of documents requested, unless the Instructions specifically state that you must submit an original document. USCIS may request an original document at the time of ling or at any time during processing of an application, petition, or request. If USCIS requests an original document from you, it will be returned to you after USCIS determines it no longer needs your original.

Sponsor’s Statement, Contact Information, Certi cation, and Signature. Select the appropriate box to indicate whether you read this af davit yourself or whether you had an interpreter assist you. If someone assisted you in completing the af davit, select the box indicating that you used a preparer. Further, you must sign and date your af davit and provide your daytime telephone number, mobile telephone number (if any), and email address (if any). Every af davit MUST contain the signature of the sponsor (or parent or legal guardian, if applicable). A stamped or typewritten name in place of a signature is not acceptable.
