'packet 3' and police cert

hey :)

 

Just wondering how long it took for everyone to receive their 'packet 3' after their case had been received at London? Someone I speak to from VJ got their packet 3 about 3/4 business days after their case was received at london. My case was received about 6 or 7 business days ago and i still don't have packet 3. I'm up in scotland so thinking maybe that has something to do with it?

Also, how long did everyone wait before their police cert was delivered after they applied for it?

I can't speak much for the "packet 3" as I assume thats specific to the K-1 (I'm filing I-130), but I requested my police certificate and received it within two weeks. IIRC, they also have a expedited option which cost a little more if you need it sooner.

If packet 3 is a Copy of the original petition and letter confirming you to book your interview, mine took about a week after stating ready on the CEAC tracker.

My police cert took about 8 days including the weekend.

yeah so i guess both of mine are taking a bit longer than that so far! been waiting 9 days (including weekend) for police cert and 9 days (including weekend) for packet 3. hopefully they come soooon:)

we showed ready today so hoping the packet doesn't take too long.  do you need to have that before you can submit the notification of applicant readiness form and the ds-160?  Fiance has ACRO and scheduled medical already.

                                                                                                                                     04/9/19   - 15 minutes after checking the USCIS website where no change was listed, it said "Interview was scheduled".  Received email from USCIS later stating "Case Status: Testing & Interview" (438 days)

                                                                                                                                     05/9/19   - received text saying case was updated and to check website 
                                                                                                                                     09/9/19   - received USPS Informed Delivery that USCIS letter would arrive today & it was in the post. Rec'd email from USCIS requesting more info for expedite AP request. Faxed info back immediately. 
                                                                                                                     10/9/19   - rec'd approval for I131 renewal; 18/9-USCIS email "new card ordered"' 21/9 -"Card/Doc Production"; 23/9-2 ltrs in mail from USCIS, card mailed via USPS (text/email notifications for all)

I'm assuming you have your LND number as you booked the medical.

You can complete the notification of readiness and DS160 whenever you're ready :)
