Any help from people who have already been interview and passed with a few questions please.  My wife is scheduled for her interview on 3/13/18.   When she takes the civic part of the interview, will she be able to ask the immigration officer to repeat the question or will that be marked as a wrong answer???  On the writing a english sentence for the other part of the test, does she write out the sentence (cursive) or does she print out the sentence.

Might seem like very ignorant questions, but she wants to be sure before she goes in there.

I have been quizzing her on the civics, and she pretty much has it mastered, but, dont know if there is any answer for this, but will they ask her some of the harder of the questions, or more of the easier ones related to her state, etc.

Thanks kindly for any advice or assistance on this

Ron

Writing should not matter - as long as it is legible, there should be no issue whether it is printed or written in cursive.  They are not there to judge your penmanship - just your ability to understand the language.

As to asking for a repeat, I believe that there is no issue with that - I think that I may have even asked for one to be repeated though I'm not certain at this moment.  On the other hand, the video that they have online showing "what to expect" does show the interviewee asking for a question to be repeated.

In general - I think that the best advise that I can give is to not sweat it.  As long as you understand the language, and know the questions you should face no difficulty, and all the rest of the remaining questions are more or less correlating what you already entered in your application, or that are personal matters that you know inherently...  Going in worried about everything will make the interview stressful and more difficult than it needs to be...

You might also want to take a look through the monthly filers forums and skipping through to where people start to describe their interview process for some ideas of what it is like; for instance the Jan 2017 forum has a whole lot of people who have gone through the interview process with their take on the experience.

Good luck!

Kris
