So I went for the medical Tuesday 13th. They said if you don’t hear from them within 5 working days . Which will be Monday I assume , then I guess everything was ok? I’m a little worried as I have my interview on the 21/2/2018 . Knightsbridge said I can still go and if anything is wrong the visa will just be pending approval medical results etc . I’m so nervous for the whole situation ! It’s crazy!

Normally for London I'd say no worry it'll be there but Knightsbridge seems to be a bit inconsistent lately so I can't be overly confident.

However even if they don't get the report to the embassy in time and assuming there is no reason for denial you will just have a week or 2 delay before the visa is issued.

Try not to stress about things you have no control over & concentrate on enjoying the time you have left with friends/family (easier said than done I know) :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Yeah, they said even if I need treatment for something I can still do my interview and they will hold off on sending the medical to the embassy until it’s all cleared

Treatment? The only thing that needs to be treated before a visa can be issued is TB and I think you’d know if you had that! Oh, and certain STDs as well but again you’d know if you had one.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Yeah that’s the issue . Lol. I had a syphillis infection and was treated but she said my treatment in Asia might not be accepted due to it not being in standards to the uk and USA way of treating . But she said , go to your interview and if you need std treatment you’ll be contacted and we will hold your medical report here until you have completed the treatment if needs to ,

If I was there n your shoes I think I'd call Knightsbridge and ask if your medical has been sent to the embassy or if you need to get treatment in the UK first

They said they would contact me if anything needed treating etc . Or no news is good news apparently they said. The dr said she can’t send a medical report to the embassy if something needs to be treated first. I’ll email them tomorrow and ask them if they have any news for me

Yup 'no news is good news' is what they told me too and my medical got there in time for my interview.

Good luck and hopefully you'll be celebrating soon :)
