Maybe I am missing something but after my stuff got to Addis Ababa, my fiance got a letter and packet a few days later.

I actually has the interview date on it as June 6th. That would mean everything was about 3 months???

What am i missing? Will she get 2 dates or something? Its the first date just to drop off the info and then she will get another date for the actual interview?

"I just got off the phone with my husband and have some AMAZINGLY good news He just called the Embassy and found out that petitioners applying for their K visas they don't submit their papers and wait for an appointment date. Their paperwork is reviewed the same day..............."

 Way to go Addis.

That means my process will be a total of about 3 months.???

Going through Vermont, and a fast consulate, 3 months is possible. Most people end up taking 6 - 9 months depending on the consulate and service center. Good luck.

My consulate is extremely fast. I already got an appointment for May 10th and the case left NVC on 04/30/2007 (currently in transit). Barring any AP/AR my whole journey will take around 60 days through VSC with a month waiting for an RFE (if it hadn't been for the RFE it was going to take around 30 days). Talking about a fast consulate go to Dakar Senegal.
