Hello Folks,

 

When does the bio metric form come to the sponsor or beneficiary on a K-1 Visa application?

I have been told that not everyone gets this form

You mean for AoS? K1 doesn't really have biometrics.

As for AoS biometrics, everyone has to do it, as far as I know.   And it's not a form, it's an invitation really. You get it couple of months into the process.

 

Some people get interview waivers though.

For Adjustment of Status everyone applicant will do biometrics.  The appointment letter comes after they schedule it.  They only schedule appointments a few weeks in advance.  Timing depends on how busy the local ASC is.  Could be a few weeks to many months before you are scheduled
