Hello not sure if this is the right place to post this. My wife is from the Philippines and bringing her to America. Everything is done so I bought her plane ticket one way stop so I just realized that her point of entry is in Canada and her destination is Seattle. I thought her poe was there but apparently not. So she only has 1:50 in Canada and most likely not enough time. Can I buy her a  new ticket in Canada for Seattle or would that just be confusing. I don't want to refund the ticket and get half back. Thank you

So you bought a ticket that goes from MNL to Vancouver to Seattle? If so, don't worry about the ticket. If she were to miss her flight to Seattle, they'll put her on another flight (at no additional cost).

Even if she's late because of the poe?

I have called the airline they said it's up to the agency. Called the agency and they said nothing they can do about it. Then called Alaska Airlines which is the one she is using to go to Seattle and they nothing they could do until 6 hours before her flight to Seattle that's when I can change the Seattle flight to a later time if there is any openings. Then the problem would be letting her know about the flight change. But she would be in the middle of the Pacific ocean

Yes. As long as it is one ticket and not two separate ones.

Yes. This is the  uncertainty you sit with. If you are able to pay the change fee and reschedule the Vancouver to Seattle flight to allow for a greater transit time, then you will have certainty and confidence that get flights will be ok. Just my thoughts.

I would just roll the bones,  She will probably have no issues catching her  final flight to USA.

If she does the airlines are used to dealing with people being missing flights due to going thru immigration, I am sure it will all get figured out in the end and it sounds like right now your are getting over anxious about it (Which I understand).
