Hi friends,

Just reaching out to anyone who has done a US Immigrant medical check in recent years in Singapore? I'm curious the learn about the process and how long it takes to get the results. Do we get to see the results before they send it in to the US embassy? Also, what is the experience any of you have with the vaccination schedule? I'm a Dutch national (Singapore PR) with an very old copy of the childhood immunizations. I'm curious to find out if the doctor at Fullerton Health will use the immunizations as an excuse to sell some additional immunizations...

Look forward to hearing your experiences.

Don’t know anything specific about Singapore but in the absence of any localized responses...

No one anywhere sees their medical, before or after it gets to the embassy. Obviously if it reveals an important health issue the doctor will tell you.

Many adults are waived from many vaccinations because of age anyway. The doctors work according to a defined schedule so you will get any vaccinations you need, no more, no less. It’s fairly rare for adults to have a copy of their childhood immunizations so you’re one step ahead of many there anyway.

Hi Susie,

Thank you for your feedback. This forum is a great way to get information on steps in the process that are unknown to many.

I hadn't realized that as an adult we can get waived for certain immunizations due to age.

Thanks!

Peter
