About the question where does your relative intend to live; I live with my parents so do I list that as my answer? Or should I rent a apartment before I fill out the form because we will probably live in a apartment when she is here.

And also how do I answer where did we live together before if we didnt live together before?

You can list your current residence. You don't need to move out only for this reason. For the 2nd one, you can simply write "never lived together."

wilhelm,

Don't try to make a simple question complicated - write down where you intend to live. Answers such as 'to be determined' or 'unknown at this time' are appropriate answers if they are truthful answers.

Again, KISS - 'have not lived together'?

Not the advice I would have given about the "intend to live" question, but I haven't read any posts of anyone entering these replies before .. Yodrak has been here alot longer than me, so he is much more knowledgable about this .. please post here if that is what you enter so that I can watch your timeline ..

Good luck in your journey

CountryBoy,

You've made me curious - how would you answer the question if you don't know where you might be living but you do know that it won't be where you live now?

You didn't ask me but if I knew I could receive mail there regardless, I would answer with my current address because it is specific. The accuracy is never going to be questioned. We are allowed to move without permission. Wehn they file for AOS, they can use their new address. No problem.

That said, I don't see a problem with "Will lease apartment together in Podunkville, ST" if that's the best you have.

pushbrk,

Agreed, the accuracy is not going to be questioned, one is free to move as they wish, and one should answer with the best they have.

But, you believe that specificity is more important than truthfullness in deciding what is 'best'? Sometimes it doesn't matter, but it's a bad habit to get into because sometimes it does matter.

Yeah, my answer was specific to the instant question. It was not a general statement of priority.
