This morning in my case history this message showed up:

On February 22, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number OVP039*******MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

It may be moving forward!

That means somebody is actually currently reviewing the expedite request and will make a decision. I don't like to say "soon", but it tends to be the last update others have seen before having the request approved or denied IIRC. Good luck.

Hi everyone,

I requested to expedite my EAD case on Feb, 8th. On Feb, 12th, I got an email stating "Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly". Also, my online case status changed as below:

On February 12, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX, was completed.

On February 12, 2018, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX.

On February 12, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX, was assigned to an officer for response.

I haven't get any email to send my evidence, so I talked a Tier 2 officer yesterday, he told me that my case is already with an adjudicator, so it is not possible to expedite the case anymore since it is already with an adjudicator and I have to wait him/her to finish my review.

Is there anyone else in the same position? After the case is with an adjudicator, how much is the wait time generally, if we assume there is no problem?

Thank you in advance.

I have the same experience as you. Called USCIS T1 on February 14th requesting expedited EAD based on job offer/severe financial loss. Online status changed to exactly your wording on February 17th. No mail nor email is sent to me till today.

Do do you have any more updates since then?

Thank you! I really hope that they did not just update it to throw my case back in the queue for another 6 months. It is strange that it went back re assigned to an officer because they already did it once with this same expedite request. At that time case got updated to review complete very shortly but now it has been to assigned to an office for a day. Who knows...

Just called USCIS again talked to T1, she said they mail me a request for further evidence on Feb 19th which is a holiday I didn't know they were working. And she said if I don't get the letter by next Monday I should call back and request another letter. She did read me the letter which is basically a request for evidence to fax to them.  Hopefully, I'll get the mail by next Monday.

Did you not provide your e-mail address when you requested expedited review? I got an e-mail requesting fax.

I gave them my email but they chose to mail me a letter. Did you submit the G-1145 form with your package which allows you to receive text and email from them? I didn't submit that form maybe that's why they don't communicate with me via email.
