Hi everyone,

I requested to expedite my EAD case on Feb, 8th. On Feb, 12th, I got an email stating "Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly". Also, my online case status changed as below:

On February 12, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX, was completed.

On February 12, 2018, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX.

On February 12, 2018, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXX, was assigned to an officer for response.

I haven't get any email to send my evidence, so I talked a Tier 2 officer yesterday, he told me that my case is already with an adjudicator, so it is not possible to expedite the case anymore since it is already with an adjudicator and I have to wait him/her to finish my review.

Is there anyone else in the same position? After the case is with an adjudicator, how much is the wait time generally, if we assume there is no problem?

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like my situation. I got the email with the same wording on Jan 18th after I faxed my job offer. I was approved today.

Thanks for your answer. However, I haven't send any evidence, because they didn't want me to. The reason was that there was no point to expedite it since it is already with adjudicator, and being reviewed, and there is no more expedition for that. When you call them, did they tell you that it is with adjudicator? How was you process? I am just trying to understand how much time an adjudicator spends in a case with no problems.

That is what I was told on the phone, since Jan 25th...

Thank you so much for your response, I have to start to work on March, 5th. However, I am not sure I am able to.

I would say it all depends on when you are planning on travelling. I emailed ombudsman too today and it seems like it is going to take at least a month since the day I put in expedited request.
