11/13/2018 both I-131 and I-765 cases changed to "Approved"

***********************************************************************************************************************************************

AOS from F1 to LPR

Category: F2A

PD 7/1/2016

i-130 approved 10/12/2016

I-485/I-765/I-131 filed 09/29/2017

Biometrics: 11/9/2017

Nothing has moved, no EAD, no AP, no RFE

but no new is good news, I guess.

Estimated AOS time range in our office is 11-23 months. Approaching the 11 month mark in few weeks )

The attorney recommended not to work while on F1 even with EAD.

We are not too worried about waiting as the degree still needs to be completed and F1 status is perfectly fine and gives a lot of time for AOS.

Plus, I heard if the marriage is over 2 years, the permanent GC is given and we do not have to worry about removing conditions.

So far so good.

F2A visa

PD is Feb 2019.

center : California

can anyone please tell me how long it takes to get through the USCIS?

whats the apprx time line for F2A approval

thank you

Currently USCIS approvals are taking from 20 to 26 months. Every couple months it gets pushed backwards. So yours could take at least 30 or even 40 months from Feb, 2019 until you can get a letter from USCIS. It used to take only 5-6 months couple years ago, but now things are different....

Could anyone who has ever submitted PCC from Turkey and UAE let me know how exactly you got them. I don't reside in those countries anymore. I submitted a PCC obtained from Turkish consulate in Chicago and through Dubai police online from the website https://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae . Both were rejected. Kindly help.
