Hello!

Quick question: So my Fiance is originally from the Philippines -- born in Santa Mesa (City), Province: Manila. I think I might have messed up when helping her with the DS-160. I put on there Santa Mesa, because it asked for the City of Birth, then Country. Never the Province as far as I remember. Her Birth Certificate Says: Birthplace: "City: Santa Mesa, Province: Manila". So I went with the City not thinking anything of it, not the Province.

But her passport shows "Place of Birth: Manila".

On the I-129F with USCIS, it says "Manila" is what I put on there as well. We already have the K1 interview setup for March 14th and for the US Embassy for Montreal Canada (she lives in Canada via a Work Permit), they required we sent them a completed DS-160 form. That form I sent them shows Santa Mesa, *not* Manila.

I guess i'm really worried because the I-129F shows Manila; Passport Manila; DS-160 Santa Mesa. But if you google Santa Mesa Philippines, it says "A city in Manila". Will this be an issue during the interview/obtaining the visa? I can't change it anymore because the DS-160 was already signed and submitted, plus sent to the embassy, processed and we have the interview date.

I read a couple posts on here say that you can just tell the CO during the interview to change it to Manila because they have access to the DS-160.

If you read her birth certificate, I answered the DS-160 correctly. I just am concerned that all the other documents are using her Province (Manila), while the DS-160 shows just Santa Mesa.

Any help/thoughts would be really appreciated -- thanks so much!

I really don't think it will be an issue. I guess she can always clarify that in the interview. I doubt they will deny her just for that. After all Santa Mesa is In Manila, right?

Yes that's correct.

Actually upon further investigation on our DS-160, we *did* put City: Santa Mesa, State/Province: Manila

What freaks me out is that particular page says "The information on this page must match your passport". So Manila *is* on that page, but her passport doesn't mention Santa Mesa. Ughhhh.
