NOA1 not received in mail, is it needed later in the process?

We haven't received our NOA1 notice somehow although USCIS says they already sent it. We have reached out to USCIS to have it sent again. Is it required at some later stage or just a nice to have for your own satisfaction?

It is not needed, hahaha my fiancé sent our noa1 back to USCIS because he thought he had to, so we called to have another one sent to us, they said they would (this was back in July) and they still haven't sent us one. Interview is on Tuesday, never needed it. NOA2 you do need to keep though.

I did receive email notification of i-130 application being received by USCIS and have a case number, just the physical NOA1 wasn't received. Would like to know veteran VJers' thoughts on if it is required later in the process?

I didn't receive my NOA1 through email but I did receive NOA1 through mail address in US from my relative who lives there. Kinda weird though

1. We need to save (and WILL need) NOA1 physical notice for NVC/Interview stage? (Yes/No)

The approval notice is needed later when adjusting status from the K visa processes.  You only need the case number for an immigrant visa case.
