My wife and I went through the US Citizens line. We asked and that's where they pointed us to go to. The guy opened and inspected the packet right then and there, put a bunch of stamps on several of the forms then put it on the side. She had to do two fingerprints and off we went, took maybe 2 minutes.

I think it depends on the airport. My husband and I went through LAX (one of the worst airports) and we had to go through the visitors line and it was really long. No secondary though, but at some point another officer came to us and asked us if it's a fiance visa. It looked like our case was a novelty for them or something and they were excited.

As promised, I am back relaying our experience taking the beneficiary through Mobile Passport line together with the petitioner.

We had a slight back and forth with the line dragon (the person helping travelers choose the correct line). We were asked if the beneficiary was in the Mobile Passport, we said no, and we were told that in this case we could not go through the Mobile Passport line.

We said, Ok, no problem, which line would you like us to go to? The line dragon looked around, and said that since they were not that busy right now, we could go through the Mobile Passport line.

At the Mobile Passport station we had no issues with the officer. Everything was done right there and quickly, fingerprinting, picture taking, the envelope, and customs questions.

So here you go.
