I’m 21 and my fiancé is 50 I know it’s a large age gap but we really love each other he’s American citizen. He try to visit me as much as he can . We’re about to start our filing process/paper work next month . I’d like to know what are some great evidence of a bonafide relationship and also some stuffs that could cause a visa denial. Will they turn us down because he’s older? I need advice

imo age difference will cause a red flag, and could cause not that it will cause but could cause your case to looked at harder.

when it comes to evidence anything you show is good, chat logs, travel history, pictures, affidavits from friends and family that know about your relationship. for sure pictures, affidavit from each of you with intent to marry in the 90 days. phone call logs, skype, FB ect.

The big issue right now is what country you are from and how it is viewed as Ben has said. So what country is this please?

Jamaica

Thanks. I don't know entirely how Jamaica views age diffferences... obviously any age difference can be overcome with good evidence. As you said he has visited as much as he can, that is a plus.

We ask because some countries do view significant age gaps as red flags, especially when the female is the older of the two. In your case he is, which sometimes is over looked. Still 30 years is a large age gap; but again it can be overcome.

As Ben has eluded too the majority of the age differences you see usually from North Africa and the Caribbean are young men and Older women. So this being opposite will more than likely not induce a denial if there is strong evidence of a relationship. What works in your favor is that he has been to see you a few times so that is really good.
