Hi ,

My husband Apply i767 arround may 2013 , and his i 601a was approved . He went to court for removal proceedings , but Judge told him that he doesnt need to do removal proceedings and can just go to Guangzhou China consulat general to do interview . But lawyer said he worried that my husband not allowed to enter USA if Judge didnt do removal proceedings . His interview schedule at USA Consulate general at Guang zhou ,China is 02/26/18 .

My question is would that be safe if my husband didnt do removal proceedings (Since judge told him new law is no need to do removal proceedings )?

Lawyer said its a high risk if Judge didnt do removal proceedings. But judge said what are you worried for ? You have i601a.

Should my husband just go to USA Consulate general at Guang zhou ,China without removal proceedings ?

Thanks
