Hmmmm I'd say the current laws are very much in the favor of the pro gun advocates. Donnie recently rescinded a bill that prevented mentally ill people from having access to a gun.

everyone has to have a gun, or no one is safe. this premise works literally no where else, but, hey usa is special!

zero point in discussing this with you. we've had this thread so many times, nothing ever changes. i guess just stew in your thoughts and prayers and blame liberals. god speed.

America will eventually catch up with the rest of the free world. On this issue America is still stuck in the 19th and 20th centuries, the rest of the world are looking ahead into the 21st century. The 2nd amendment is old and painfully outdated, it needs to be modernized.

Which is so obvious to the hundreds of millions of people in Europe, Japan and Australia but a proportion of the USA population turn a blind eye to it.

There you go again......everyone ALREADY has a gun......solutions must address the problem as it exists in reality.....not some fantasy that you can somehow eliminate all the guns which are in existence.  You can not legislate or confiscate all the existing guns....

We can expect a lot more acid attacks like the UK?

There are more guns in circulation than you will ever confiscate.......so why not address the school shooting problem with some real solutions which recognize  that fact instead of placing a target on back of every student in the US with this gun free zone idiocy.

i really don't care to have this convo with someone who doesn't exist in reality. i didn't drop my kid off at school today with a target on his back, i didn't see any other students or teachers with targets on their backs. i specifically said i didn't want to confiscate all guns, but you respond with 'there are more guns in circulation than you will ever confiscate'. whatever.

of course, i know that there are like two or three guns per person in the us..but you weren't talking about that, you said "EVERYONE ALREADY" has a gun and that is correct. i guess you just speak in hyperbole. to each his own.
