Quick question, i was referencing a bank deposit slip that i had on hand and paid the fees shown to schedule the K1 interview. Upon logging into the US Doc site to confirm the deposit number  i saw that the fee had changed and there is now a new fee which is about 10$ more as of 2/1/18.

has anyone ran into this? i have an email inquiry to the embassy to see if i can make an additional deposit to cover all charges but wanted to ask if anyone has ran into this before.

Thanks in advance!

This was for the embassy in Ukraine . On their website they had a deposit slip form which showed the amount to be paid which was 7695 UAH. I downloaded this form last month. We deposited the funds today. I did not realize it had changed til I went to input my deposit # into the us docs website.  Now it shows 7950 uah. The currency exchange must have changed in the last 2 weeks.

I am waiting for a reply from the embassy, but was just hoping I didn't have to pay the full 265$ or 7950 uah and loose the first deposit.

Sorry, you should have paid attention to the deposit slip. Expiration date is clearly marked.

The bank teller should have also warned you that your deposit slip had expired.

I hope the consulate can help you sort this out.
