My 58 years old brother suffered from bipolar schizophrenia all his life, was taken care by my parents in China . My father passed away last year and mother passed away recently. There is no family in China anymore. He can not live by him self because  his condition is not completely  controlled.  How can I bring him here ?  This is a unique situation.   Also I am a neurologist myself,  I can help treating his condition also taking care of him.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you a US citizen?

There is no "take care of brother" visa. Can petition him as a sibling, but that takes years.

Yes. I am. He won’t survive for the sibling I’m meg ration waiting period.  I believe it’s now about 20 years.  Any other way?

3 main ways are Family, Investment and Work,

Investment?

Or perhaps the obvious one would be for you to move.

Unfortunately, and as sad as it sounds, there is nothing you can do to bring him here immediately. You can file a sibling petition but it like you already know, it will take years. Even if you are able to bring him here now the cost of treatment and care for him would likely be through the roof.

If he is in dire need of your support, you can move to his country to take care of him.
