This weather in England needs to hold out another 12 days til I get there!

I really hope it does, last time Dave was over it rained alot and sights always look less impressive in drizzle.

I hate to admit it, but i'm getting a teeny weeny bit excited about going now

Teeny bit, hell - I've got 16 days, and I'm VERY excited!!! I miss my cutie. All we're having in Texas is a wild mixture of the beautiful warm, sunny stuff and tornadoes! Dan was so disappointed he didn't get to see his first tornado in the 2 months he was here. Had one the night after he left. Ah well - next Spring I'm sure he'll get his chance.

Don't plan on seeing a huge amount of the weather while I'm there either, Tracy!! ;)

It's a beautiful day, but it's a tad cold for my liking. Definitely too cold for tube tops! In another week or two the weather should be warmer; there is nothing like May/June in England. The weather is usually glorious.

Aint that the truth! Certainly more pleasant than summer in Central FL!

Since I moved here, I noticed that because I'm more inland than when I lived in Lauderdale...it's wayyyyyyy more uncomfortable during the summer. Yep, that should have seemed more straightforward to me, but experiencing it and knowing it are two diff things! Plus it's really northern central fl and with the actual season change here, I would have assumed it would be hotter down there.

I miss the sunshine of the NE without all the humidity of a sauna. :(

To all those going over...I hope you have a great time & a wonderful reunion!!!!!!

And take note...this has NEVER failed. When I am in the UK, the dollar is weak. When D is in the US the dollar is strong. So expect a change when D moves here cos we always get screwed no matter who's where :lol::lol:
