Hello all!

I have filed my k1 in Feb 2006. But I have made a mistake for not listing my fiancee's daughter on my I-129F. What is my other option for correction? I think there will be problem at the interview if I do not correct my mistake. Any helpful advices...? I would appreciate very much.

That depends on if your fiancee wants to bring her daughter to the US. I believe I read in another thread that her ex has full custody? If so, and there are no plans to bring try and bring her daughter to the us in the near future I think your current petition will be ok. Perhaps someone with more experience can correct me if I am wrong..

thank you very much for your reply...Yes..her ex-husband has full custody of her daughter. My fiancee want to bring her to US too, but can't because of the custody. I just want to correct my paper in order to avoid any problem at the interview. I just thought it wrong when I filled out the paper work. Thought since her daughter can NOT come, so I listed NONE....feel so stupid.....

i think the form does say to list children of beneficiary whether or not the children will be immigrating.

i don't know however how this would affect your K1 application. not sure how to make corrections either... try contacting the USCIS or TSC and tell them you overlooked that section and would like to list the beneficiary's children now.

Yes..thank you so much for your reply....they way I thought was...list all the children if they want to immigrate to US. But I have spoken with immigration attorney....He told me that can be corrected at the interview. It's not a big deal.
