My husband has been in administrative processing since september 2017 due to a arrest in El Salvador in 2003 anyone with a similar situation please comment how long did you wait what was the outcome please help

Same for my husband - since January 2018. We are in the same boat. From the research I have done some people have gotten it resolved within 6 weeks, some people it took up to 8 months. I am not sure what determines how long it takes.

How long did it take you to receive the case files and submit them back to the embassy? Does the embassy have his passport too?

The Embassy has his passport since september the paper work need it for the arrest took two months to get, but for some reason my husband had done before going to El Salvador so we didnt have to wait two months we just didnt take it to the interview and that was the mistake.
