Oh gosh, that's far and such a hassle.

We attached letter of employment stating how much my sponsor makes (same for me), bank statement, two to three pay stubs, two to three W2s, and my state ID (they asked for it for some weird reason).

Yeah, the trouble with living so far north lol.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate your help. Keep me posted with your progress. All the best.

I had my interview for a K1 visa this Monday, the 12th.

Just like you, from all the reading I have done online, I thought only the co-sponsors I-134 was needed, however when I got there, the CO made it very clear that an I-134 was needed from the co=sponsor as well as the petitioner.

Luckily, I had both since my fiance sent hers along with the co-sponsors, so was able to provide both at the time.

Maybe London is getting more strict in terms of the I-134s

Thanks for this. In the future, perhaps we should advise those in London to bring 'just in case' documents from their primary sponsor.

I had my interview today and he asked for my fiances i-134 as well. I didn't have it, but luckily he let me off because I brought my fiances job offer letter and a signed bank statement from him.

I would definitely recommend all future interviewees bring both the fiance and sponsors i-134s.

Well, this is a heads up for all those who are going to the London Embassy for a K1 interview.

I was told numerous times on visajourney London only requires one I-134 and I would not need to fill one because my uncle is my co-sponsor.

Well, that is false. My fiance just got out of the London Embassy and they told him I needed to fill an i-134 with supporting documents too.

I am really upset right now since I've asked so many times and I was given the wrong information. I know this is a quick easy fix but I had hopes for an approval today after this long wait. The interviewer said it could take 3-4 weeks now which I don't think is true but I am disheartened right now and trying to send in everything by today.

When you say file the 1-134 what do you mean? do you mean just print it out have my fiancé sign it then take it to the interview with me?

or do we need to send it before?

When you say finances and sponsors... does this mean someone else is financially supporting you?

My fiancé is my only support of income I have some money in my bank however due to me quitting my job I don't have that much. Do Ineed to fill out the !-134 aswell as my fiance

Yeah, my father in law is acting as our co-sponsor as both my fiance and I have been working abroad for the last few years, so he has onky just re-established himself in the US. You won't need to fill in an I-134 as it has to come from a US citizen I believe. Just make sure you have your fiances and any evidence to prove that he can provide for you while you're unable to work, plus any evidence of your savings will be helpful.

My uncle is co-sponsoring my fiance since I am a full time student and I don't make enough. If your fiance is sponsoring you himself, he only feels out one i-134 for himself! :)
