Hello guys, here is my situation. I'm from Brazil and my husband filed I-130 on Feb, 2017. Well the process is going well so far and we are at the NVC phase, specifically waiting our Case Number and IIN. My husband which is the petitioner (U.S. Citizen) is deployed in Germany and is an Active Duty of U.S. Army. The case as received by NVC on Jan 18, 2018 and I waited the normal 2 weeks for their response but nothing came. So I kept calling them and on Feb 5th they put a request to a supervisor review the case and rush it. My question is at the NVC phase is there some way to expedite the process since my husband is deployed in Germany and is a military active duty?

If he had a pending deployment maybe they would, but I'm not confident that will if there are no other factors.

Germany is considered just an overseas tour, not a deployment.

I don't think this is a case for expedite. Maybe if it would be aos and you'd be on his orders for the Germany tour.

Expedite would work if he's be deployed to some war zone area. Like Afghanistan. Even so the expedite would have to start before he leaves. What's the point if she's already There?

I'm curious how it works in your case. Your husband is in Germany so where your point of entry after getting a visa would Be? You kind of have to go to USA first ? And then you have to wait to be somehow added to his orders so you can actually join him in Germany?

3 years! This year is his last one.

It's questionable that the Army would amend his orders to allow for an accompanied tour if this is his last year on assignment in Germany.    Anyway, it can sometimes take a month or more before you hear something from NVC.
