I couriered mine. Signature tracked courier. If you are in Auckland you can drop them in.

01/18/2017: I-130 mailed

02/13/2017: NOA1

10/30/2017: NOA2

NVC

11/22/2017: NVC welcome letter received (by email, paper copy arrived weeks later)

12/07/2017: Filled in DS-260 online

12/08/2017: Posted NVC package (AOS, IV & Civil Documents)

12/18/2017: NVC Scan date

02/01/2018: NVC Case Complete

03/02/2018: Receive Interview Appointment letter

03/20/2018: Medical appointment

04/17/2018: Interview, result: APPROVED!!!

04/24/2018: Visa Issued and shipped from Consulate

04/26/2018: Visa received!

06/21/2018: Landed in Houston! Passport stamped :)

07/14/2018: Greencard arrived in the mail

Omg i sent it in through NZ Post couriered but not signature. Did you send it to their private bag?

 

I also forgot to put it in an envelope before I put it in the courier envelope. Huhuhu hope all goes well. I was just being silly. Got back from holidays on the same day and couldnt wait to post it out.

I sent it directly to the consulate 23 Customs St, ATTN IV Unit. I don't think private bags can take courier deliveries. I suggest you call the consulate and confirm they received the package?

 

I had mine in a labelled clear file with an attached cover letter.  No envelopes inside the package, just the clearfile in a courier bag.

Mine hasnt been approved yet.

 

They didnt get NZ police cert so I have to make another request. But he said, everything is in order and as long as I have no record then i should expect to receive the passport in the mail with the visa stamped. Til then I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hehehe.
