Hi!

I was just checking the processing times for CSC and the time for the I-130 Petition for Alien Relative for Permanent Resident Status is JANUARY 01 2005.....??? Could that be a typo? Am I reading it right?

Cheers,

Pris.

I-130 for CSC is October 2006 I think you must of read the wrong one.

The wording in this post is different than on the website making it sound a little ambiguous. The website shows an I-130 for spouse with a permanent resident filing the petition. It is correct that the date is January 2005. Permanent residents must wait much longer than USCs filing I-130 for spouse.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!

Yes it is my understanding that PR's must wait longer than USC's.

You're right I was reading the wrong one, I thought that that meant me going for permanant residency but yes J is a US Citizen.

Thanks for the clarification :)
