So now that he is approved do I buy a one way ticket or a round trip flight for him to come to US.

One way, but make sure to wait until visa is actually in hand before purchasing a ticket. Cause even when they say it’ll take 1-2 weeks there are people who can attest to the fact that they’ve taken longer than usual and had to rebook or cancel their flight! Hopefully it gets issued quickly though! Congrats again!! 🎊🎉

Congrats. Now up to the next process ' AOS ' once you move to US. By the way, anyone who has any questions for the next step  I can answer them from my experience.  We did process without any Lawyer help. Good Luck!

My fiancé went to the embassy and brought all his things and explained we got canceled and they made him wait and took him in they did the first part asked some questions and took all his papers 1 passport photo and police report archive birth certificate and after they said that they didn’t have enough people working to give him an interview on the spot or they would have and they apologized for what happened and they gave him an interview date and said all he needs to bring is his passport Thank God I’m happy because I know we have everything and he said they had the whole packet from uscis and I’m very relieved 😌 thoes phone lines don’t tell you anything sometimes you just have to try . He said that others were there also that had been canceled the website still says there is no interviews

Wow great! I think everyone who had an interview date that was cancelled due to the  riot shutdown should try as your fiance did. It's not going hurt to give it a try.
