So the embassy is opened and my interview was this morning at 7:00am. Everything went well. Questions asked was: name, DOB, address, phone number, transfer receipts and pictures, how many times we see each other. So guys if you are in a real relationship don’t freak out, just make sure you do your homework with your fiancée in Haiti; like where you work, your address, your salary, where you first met and how many time you travel to see each other, family info specially if there are children etc..

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉!!! So happy for you 🤗

do you call the  consulate or support desk the US number? All they said when I called is they don't have interviews keep checking

Hey are there 2 different numbers between the consulate & the US Service desk? If so, may you post it here please? Unless I missed it in another posting. If it’s the same (703) 544-7842 one the only option they have to speak to someone is if I press the number where they ask me if I want to book an interview with an agent. Other than that is there a way to get through to the embassy directly?

The only time was after the protests my fiancé called the embassy directly and pressed 3 to talk to The consular section and the lady gave information about it being open for interviews but I think in reguard to any questions about your direct case it seems the support desk is the only way

@IssaCaptureFL did you have to submit documents to them and did they keep your passport?

They told my fiancé to include both his and I divorce decree along with his passport in the package and mail it via DHL. They received it on Tuesday.

I think it takes 10 days before it updates so just give them a few more days

10-15 days, but I would imagine that they are backed up with files sent before mines. I know the latest is 60 days so anything before then is a blessing.

Hey guys , does anyone know if my fiancé will need passport size pics of me as well as his own ?

If it’s for the interview, yes, only the beneficiaries passport size photo’s are needed. I’m not sure on how many because everyone has different experiences with that.
