Not yet. I got my congressman involved and the embassy response was sort of general but they said cases in the type of AP I’m in is taking longer than ususal due to all the security situations in Haiti, so they can’t give an estimated date of completion. 🙄 My fiancé and I patience is being thoroughly tested lol. It really sucks, but nothing we can do but wait. My congressmans’ office is being really helpful though and they want me to contact them again in March if I still don’t hear anything by then. I’ll keep this thread updated if/when I hear anything. Hopefully it’s an approval/issued visa after all this waiting!

This process will definetely test someone' s patient. I hope they give you good news after all this wait.

Yeah things calmed though it continued today I’m sure that next week we will be clear in Jesus name

Of course they are saying they won’t stop until a resignation occurs so I just don’t know the stress is constant

Everything is so stressful and unpredictable thoes whole process has been just out of this world our case got sent to the wrong country just like @Kween and for you @IssaCaptureFL I can’t even imagine didn’t you start this ?? It’s just so much I am happy people after us will have this forum as reference I feel it helped us all in many ways but just the money and stress and hardship is above and beyond and at the same time we have to be sad for Haiti and just pray

surprisingly everything went smoothly for us prior to the interview, and thats the main reason why I created this forum. Although the general forums had amazing people giving great advise I felt as if we needed one for Haiti, it would be more personal and those who come after us can learn from our mistakes, errors or just get great advise.

Let's keep on praying. My fiancee's interview is this Friday. I am praying we don't have to reschedule. I pray that God intervenes in our behalf so all interviews can go as planned.

It’s so sad how bad it is in Haiti right now. As much as I’m thinking about wanting my case to hurry up and be completed, it hurts to know what my people are going through over there and what they’re fighting for. Although I don’t agree with how they’re doing it in such a violent manner, that’s the only way they believe their voices will be heard.

Let us continue to pray and hope for better days not only for us and this stressful journey but for the people of Haiti as well who are striking for basic needs. May we all get through this journey eventually and be able to look back at how our experiences helps those to come.

For those with upcoming interviews I pray it goes as planned, runs smooth and ends in an approval, in Jesus name Amen!! 🤗
