I have been checking for dates all morning. Still no luck😥😥😥😥

They did this in August also after the protests in July everyone had to wait until September to schedule they had no interviews for August this process is is so stressful they sent our case to the wrong embassy and then this it’s going to be a year by the time my fiancé gets home 😳😔 just let me know if something updates did you write travel docs and request to have interviews open ????

@Juliette2784 Omg, are you serious. I called the embassy in Haiti and my fiance called as well. They wrote a note to the embassy requesting for them to do something being that the I-797 approval notice expires in january 2019 and they are saying dates will be available in February 2019. I mean the manifestation was in November 2018 I can understand if they do not have any dates in December 2018 because of the manifestation in November 2018 but not January 2019 either??? I mean come on people.

I know it’s horrible and they say everything is an internal system you would not believe the crazy mess we have gone through and you can’t get a straight answer from anybody all I can say is from fallowing this forum since February that if you write travel docs and they get enough requests they usually will open up interview dates . This has been nuts they had our case in Dominican Republic the same thing happened to @Kween and we called and wrote to national visa center and we have an attorney and they still sent it to DR and they would not update the address . And now this and everything expires soon the police certificate everything 😞

Oh my,I'm so sorry  to hear about this, yet another couple that this system has shown a big failure to smh. The dates update sometimes. The next available date they had was al the way in july but we were in the month of April,I called Haiti  embassy  and asked for an expedited interview date they put in the request but said it's nothing they can do just check back for more dates. Witch it did and sure enough a day or 2 later maybe 3 days, they had alot of May dates open.  I don't know if it's because I called and that made them open more appointments or did it just happen on it's own. They also said the will update the expiration on it's on, and a different person told me as long as you make the interview  before  expiration  your fine smh. They tell us anything to get us off the phone

I'm praying for us all

@Kween exactly they wrote us asking where we want the interview but the case is still. It saying it’s in Haiti it is the craziest thing I have ever been through so when your case left DR how long did it take to get an interview and who did you call in DR. This is the most backwards system ever so ready for this to be done

@Kween I called again this morning. They keep saying that they will have availble dates in february 2019 but they wrote the embassy on my behalf. I am going to keep calling and calling until they fringing post dates. If anyone else is in the same boat as me please call as well. Hopefully if we make enough noise they will post earlier dates. Thank you @Kween for the insight,  at first I thought I was by myself with this mess lol. Pure mess.

Yes we will call the problem is the consulate and the visa line they transfer us two are two things different and so the visa help desk just gives the message so let’s pray that soon the consulate will open up some soon and we will all be with our fiancé soon.

@Juliette2784 I pray so too. I have been literally checking for available appointment slots over 10 times a day to the point that a message pops up saying I have reached the maximum time I can view this page. Just to paraphrase. I have been doing this since Novermber 24th 2018. Its getting ridiculous. Look at the attachment to see what they told me about dates.

It’s just so stressful all around the board I pray they will see enough people inquire and do something I’m going to ask my attorney if she can request something. My fiancé and I thought he would be home in October we had a wedding scheduled for November 3rd and flight and everything and nope Here we are we had to rent a house in Haiti just for all of this it’s just a messy system but I just keep faith in God that this is all in his plan and happy we can all be a support to each other
