I’ve posted about this already in a separate thread & received no answer, but did anyone else’s case status look like this with 2 results showing “ready”? Is this normal?

I haven't seen that before, I would recommend calling Haiti embassy just to make sure everything is good.

I’ve sent emails and called them and still waiting for a response but one of the agents at the embassy told me to not worry about it. So I guess I’ll just wait to see what happens. I’m thinking it’s maybe because my fiancé’s son is on our petition, but he’s not traveling with him right now. He’ll be filing for him later.

Did you add him to the application at all?

The I-129 F he was added on the application, also the DS-160 of course, but they both asked if my fiancé will be traveling with his son and we put no. When asked if his son will travel eventually on the DS-160, we put yes. I’m not sure if we did that wrong, but we figured that was the best answer since he will be sending for him later.

Same thing here . I’m waiting for a response . And I put his sons name on the application but his son is in the states already .So they basically had two cases . I called and repeatedly told them the son is in the States . I put  both our children’s name on their because they asked . And August 1st they finall closed the sons case and I called and be patient were still working . So frustrating!!!  (Just saw the convo and decided to join in ! )

Im just worried that they’re going to expect the son to be at the interview with him when he will not be traveling with him at this time. Lord knows I don’t need any more bumps in the road with this process as it’s already frustrating as it is.

For those who has had their interview or is close to having their interview, what’s the longest you had to wait for the packet to get to you from the embassy after your case being ready? I’ve sent an email requesting that they email me my packet and I’ve heard nothing yet. Just wondering if I’m not being patient enough or if I really even need to receive that packet before our interview date. Can we still proceed and move forth with attending our interview date next month if we don’t receive it by then?

VENTING:

Why are they making it SOOOOOO difficult for

my fiancé to request his police certificate?!!! He’s literally at the department at 4 in the morning almost everyday and they are literally turning people away each day even though they give him a number and a date to return! I am so annoyed with Haiti’s difficult system of retrieving documents!!! Did anyone know someone on the inside? Was it the same experience for you as well? How many times did you have to return? We’re so frustrated and he already completed all the necessary steps

of getting his finger print papers & all that in order to request the certificate.

Trash is correct!!! I think I’m going to do the same thing and call the embassy because its ridiculous how horrible they are. I hope if I happen to not get it, I don’t get a CO who asks for every single little thing.

My fiancé is picking up his police certificate today at 1 PM. He made the initial request July 20 (I believe) ...so it's taking them a month to get it to people. Our interview is Monday so, like....it needs to come today. I really cannot wait for him to leave Haiti.

Okay Good But Like i said it’s not really necessary to go pick it up just cause the DCPJ is linked to the us embassy and hopefully he will be able to get it cause the DCPJ  be tripping all the time about stuff like that
