Does any one know of any inexpensive hotels that's nice and safe chose to the embassy

Best western is inexpensive but I would highly recommend Decameron simply because it’s all inclusive and I think they should be running a $80-$90/day special. Have your fiancé check for you. It’s all you can eat breakfast lunch and dinner. Non motorized water sports and amenities included. It’s on the beach and it’s beautiful and romantic.

As as far as how far from the embassy it is I’m not sure where that’s at.

If if you’re going for more business then pleasure than go with the Best Western it’s in petition ville I believe it’s spelled. It’s close to the city.

The embassy is in Tabarre which is a pretty good ways (timewise not distance) from Petionville where the Best Western is. Try Tabarre's Palace (simple, safe local accommodations for $67 a night and 15 minute walk to the embassy) or Executive Villas. The US embassy is sort out of the way / on the edge of the city.

Hi guys. Noa1 was Aug 14 and Noa2 Feb13, 2018. Would like someone who has recently completed the process to chime in here like @gsdc23 mentioned. So excited and nervous to see how quickly the next few steps go to finally having my husband by my side.

@Dee&Claudy can you please help me My fiance went to his interview and they gave him this paper should I go to us travel docs and create another account or can I use the one I already created

Hi, we did not create another account. When you initially created account did you specify which location you wanted to pick up documents? If so you should be okay. They will notify you by email when passport is ready to be picked up.@Sej i know i havent been on here for over a month now but could you chime in if im wrong.

So - this anxiety talking but... our NOA1 was Nov 6 (so a week over 6 months ago now). I'm looking at some other websites and I don't know if the language changed but did the case status change from "my case was received" to anything like case under review before NOA2? We're still a month out from the case inquiry date given on the timeline page... but I want to be sure there aren't any other signs that I should be worrying.... It seems like most people on this visajourney.com haiti/california processing got NOA2 right about at 6 months.

Thanks... nerves.
