I know right!! So sad. Can't do anything than pray and be patient.

I called weekly they still don't have it in their system yet. I will call on Friday. I heard they don't ship any cases to HAITI, the embassy don't accept them.

That's a bummer. Hang in there tho that's all you can do.

May everything work out Asap.

Hmm, that's sad !! Seeing other people that applied after you from other country  the process move smoothly for them. But us Haitian has to suffer because our people's mess.  I hope and pray thing get better soon. I want to be with my love so bad!😔

All we can do is stay hopeful, So far its been 2 days without any reported incidents lets hope this keeps going for at least 2-3 weeks straight that way they can at least bring the advisory down a tad bit.

Thats correct Haiti stopped receiving files from NVC, so they are all being held there until further notice. But I think things are going in the right direction, no reported tire burning or kidnapping in the past 2 days.

I'm glad things are going well, hope it stays like that.

I called NVC today, they received my case & assigned a case number. How long it takes for the embassy to receive it?

Normally for that stage if im not mistaken it's 2-3 weeks mines was approx. 14 days if im not mistaken, once it ready its electronically sent to Haiti, they normally receive it the same day if not the next business day. As of right now it will most likely sit there until Haiti gives the clear that they are ready to receive it.

I received an email by the consular to send all documents via dhl because I paid my visa fee but no appointment available

You’re the 3rd person I heard say the same thing. I heard it’s best to call the embassy and ask to speak to the creole speaking reps and verify this information. Simply because there’s no one there to review the documents so you don’t want to loose important documents and have it get lost somewhere in the system. Just make sure you verify the information with the embassy directly.

I s that something new and do they tell you what documents to submit?

usually they request documents at the interview and if you don’t have something they give a form and ask you to submit it with whatever they want you send through DHL.

Try calling them on Monday at the 509 2812-2929, may sure you press the immigrant option. As far as interview... I don’t think they open any dates yet, I had to wait for almost 2 months to actually get a date
