Back when Target started this mess, I really wanted to walk over to the bathroom area, and pee on the wall between the two restrooms. When confronted, I would just say I was confused and had no idea which one to use, so I just split the difference.

Hillarious.

The businesses are caught in a darned if you do and darned if you dont.

Truth be told, I much prefer women’s restrooms.  They are SO MUCH cleaner!  I squat to pee at home, and hate the mess men leave all over the toilets and sinks.  Despicable creatures, us menfolk!

 It's scary in the women's room sometimes. He keeps joking he'll get me a shewee one of these days because of how much I complain.

Those are ALL OVER Korea, NB.  And yes, they do rock.  Warms the toilet seat, washes your bum (better than a Tabo), and then air dries it.  My next house WILL have something similar in every bathroom.  They are pricey, but I am tired of washing my butt the old fashioned way!

Ummm, may make me sound dumber than I prefer, but what the heck is a shewee???

LOL... something so that ladies can just go to the bathroom without having to sit... which is kinda cool. The less I have to physically touch anything in a bathroom the better.

NB: I don't know what that toilet is... but it look terrifying.

Little off topic. I had a customer Saturday that would not shake hands. Smart actually during flu season. However if she handed me paperwork she picked it up with a napkin from her purse. Would not sit in the finance office and would not let me demonstrate her vehicle on delivery because she did not want anyone touching anything inside.

So to clarify for those not married to an Asian woman (men too, I assume, but not interested in knowing for sure)... they don’t sit on the toilet, and the don’t hover.  The seat stays up, the shoes are flat on the rim of the porcelain (hence no seat in NB’s picture).  Also, the tank isn’t needed, because they “flush” by filling the bucket and dipping water with a Tabo that is far too small to flush properly (IMO).  That Tabo is then used to hold the water that then cleans the private parts.

And then there is the Tabo.  TP is not required in the PI.  And while it is used by many Pinays in the USA, it is not NEARLY enough.

And I must say, after being introduced to the concept, I am embarrassed by the traditional bathroom rituals that most Americans employ.  Very unclean!

If I could ever manage to get in that position it would take a crane and a steroid shot to get me out of it
