I was fired from my job around 3 months ago, and was on a TN status as a Canadian citizen. In that time, I've met my boyfriend. I'm from south Asia, and he's Mexican-American (US citizen). He lives in Arizona, and I live in Indiana, but we talk on the phone regularly. My family would probably ostracize me if they found out I was married to another man, and I would rather prefer that they do not. Would it be possible to get married so soon after meeting him, and so "conviently" after I was terminated from my job and still be able to prove the bona fides of the marriage? After marriage, we plan on moving in and combining everything (finances, lease agreement, etc.)

Your relationship may face scrutiny as the both of you haven't been together very long. Take photos and gather evidence your relationship is real. I find it sad you cannot share your happiness with your family. I understand the perception of gay marriage is not the same everywhere. However, I'd like to believe love from parents and family is not conditional. You deserve to be happy.
