February 2018 Filer - US Citizen - Petition Parent - I-130

30 days from adjudication for EAD and nothing yet, and I just noticed that they are now taking longer.

 

On a nice note my wife received notice that her case I485 is moving to interview status  and that she will be receiving an interview letter some time soon. This was after we submitted the RFE2 evidence request for her case.

 

While I have not received nothing and my I485 still reflecting the date of the first letter they sent.

 

We both have the same priority date.

I read on other forums that EAD and i131 are combined now.

Should I expect a combo card ?

Wife got her text her EAD is now in production!

 

My case still reflects original receipt date and nothing since finger prints.

I have filed I130, I485, I864 and I693 for my mother back in Jan-2018. There has been no updates ever since Biometrics have been completed on 23-Feb-2018. Anyone in the same situation? Do you think it's a good idea to raise an SR or should I just wait for the next steps? Please advise.

Did you file for Ead and ap as well ?

Those have case filing dates based on your service center.

You can file online.

I 485 now a days is taking 9 to 24 months, thanks to current administration.

Thank you drsrk. I did not file for EAD and AP as this is for my mother who is 74 years old and she doesn't intend to work after getting her GC. Our cases were filed in National Benefits Center with I130 and I485 numbers starting with MSC18905XXXXX. There are no processing times mentioned for I130 and I485 for NBC. So I am not sure whether I should raise an SR or just wait.

You should have filed for I 131, ap.

What if she has to travel ?

My parents are even older.

 

Your case processing will be determined by where you live.

Look for processing times for your local office.

Your case will be transferred there.

Mine is Phoenix. 9 to 18 months.

Thanks for your response drsrk. Yes, that's a mistake on my part and I should have filed for I131. Can I file I131 now in the middle of the process? I live in Fairfax county, VA. So I am not sure if my mother's case will go to Potomac Service Center or a field office in Washington DC. I thought IR cases are handled by NBC, but probably I am wrong.

I believe your case goes to the nearest field office but I am not sure.

I don't know if you can now file i131.

You can call USCIS and ask.
