Feb 23,2018->  I-130 for my parents Mailed to Chicago

Feb 26,2018->  I checked online and it says both  packet was delivered.

March 5,2018->  one of the $535 check was cashed in...I wonder where the other $535 check went

March 5,2018->  Got a text message saying case was received with receipt #src.......... official receipt notice to follow in mail (I don't know if this was for my mom's or dad's receipt)

Concurrently files I-130, I-485, I-864, I-693, I-765, & I-131 for Parents who are present in the US on B2. 

 

Mailed the whole packet with Cashier's Check on Feb 26th 2018 and was delivered Feb 28th 2018.

 

No Text/Email or NOA yet as of 10th March 2018. 

 

Any idea when to expect the receipt?

You will be able to see the service center that I've sent my petition on the left side of this message.  Right at the bottom of my profile photo.

You will also see that I'm currently filing for the IR-5 visa. 

I believe you will be able to change this using your "timeline" 

Maybe you should update yours too.  So that it would like our profiles here on VJ.  

You can also update your signature to show your dateline progress by manually typing it in your signature. 

Hopefully that should help your journey here on VJ.

Phoenix, AZ is the lockbox you sent your application to NOT the service center that has been assigned to your case.

 

The service center address is printed at the bottom of your receipt notice (NOA1). Also, the first three characters of your case number denotes the service center it is assigned to: LIN = Nebraska, SRC = Texas, YSC = Potomac.

 

You need to change the info accordingly.

hello everyone! I have not been checking this thread for weeks. 

I won't be checking much until it's closer to our 6 month mark.  

Let's all be patient.    Soon we will be able to have our family here with us.

@WillCrack it's at Nebraska Service Center -- but i don't know why it matters this early in the process.  

But if it helps you to track things. here you go.. would you like my receipt number as well?

Change your info accordingly too... I don't see much info on your end.

For everyone, this should be a friendly thread so we can enjoy the journey together. 

There is not a "fixed" rule on this thread other than be friendly.  

There is no need to conform to anyone's process or ways other than USCIS's.  *wink wink*

Or be subjected by people who just wants to know it all.  I have been a member of VJ since 2010 -- that's 8 years compared to your... few months.  Just saying...

 

If you think you can do better, then  just start a new thread.   If not, then please abide by the friendly atmosphere this thread brings.

i did.. and i should tell you how people have been doing it here for the last 8 years (that i've been here) .. see the format?  it will also help too.

Amused... Requesting info doesn't make it unfriendly - does it? The whole idea of the forum is to share info so we know how we are moving along.

 

and... I may be not on this forum for long, but I have been in the immigration journey since the past 14 years on other forums, so I certainly am aware of the etiquette.

01/25/2018: Submitted I-130 packages to USPS

01/31/2018: I-130 delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox by USPS

02/01/2018: Checks cashed by USCIS

02/05/2018: Emails/ SMS received that USCIS has accepted and routed them to the Potomac Service Center

02/05/2018: NOA1

02/08/2018: NOA1 letter received

Hi

I filed i130, with i485 for parents on 2/8/18.

Received i797 dated 2/16.

Fingerprint done on 3/6.

 

In between got RFE for i864, replied and got a courtesy letter which says bring i693 at time of interview.

Now waiting for interview dates.

Processing center is national benefits center.

To update: I sent my I-130 March 27,2018

Received At USCIS Arizona March 31,

check cashed out $535 April 5,2018

I sent the I-130 forms with copy of my citizenship certificate, copy of my marriage contract, copy of my birth certificate,

mom’s (beneficiary’s) - copy of her birth certificate, copy of her passport, copy of my dad’s death certificate, copy of marriage contract with wrong spelling, but I also sent The status that it is recently corrected.
