Guys

NBC updated the site today. They are processing EAD

appns. with NOA dates in Jan,2006.

I have a NOA date of Dc 2005.I still have not

got my approval. No changes to my case online.

NBC Processing dates:

----------------------

Based on AOS - Jan 20

All other categories - Jan 24

Does anyone with Dec NOA got EAD approval?.

If I don't get it this week can I go get an interim

EAD?.

BTW I don't have my actual NOA since it was returned

to them due to post office screwup. But I have all the

proof that I filed in Dec-2005.That should be enough to

get an interim EAD right?. I am assuming that the local

office can verify details on computer.

Thx in advance.

Cheers!

Thanks Euro. I don't need to do Biometrics as applied under a category that does not include AOS. As a K3 holder I have that option.

As of today its more than 90 days since they received it.I am gonna make an appointment and get it with proof that I filed back in December. Its very frustrating with these guys.

I think they have approved all EAD applications with receipt date of December already. They do not send biometrics appointment letters for some reason. But you should receive it by the end of this month. I received mine yesterday. As for interim EAD...I think they will accept a photocopy of your NOA1.

Good luck with this type of bureaucracy (allow .... days for this type of case to be processed nonsense)

Hello GenghizKhan,

No; they have not updated my case status online. Only after I went to the district office I learned that they approved my case in Februrary. My online case status has not changed since early December. You might try to talk to an immigration officer on the phone if the customer service reps connects you through. Some of them will say 'your case is still pending' but some might tell you that your case has already been approved.

It is better to get infopass appointment dates as early as possible because they migh not have free days for the date you wish to get an appointment. You can always cancel it...or not attend it if you do not need it at that time.

Good luck :)

I am now a US citizen.
