Hi,

I've been in US for 5 years  on H1b visa, In 2017 November, I married my many years old girlfriend, who is a US citizen.

I'm applying for greencard now.

I found out, we need to complete I-130, I-130A & I-485.

I've downloaded these form and filled them, But there are not much clear instruction about how to file them.

Is there any other form that need to be completed along with these 3 form for concurrent filing ?

I read that I need to take printouts of all form  and mail them  to a filing location ?

Is there a specific format, that physical  mail should be sent ? like what document need to be attached with these 3. (for example, passport, visa,i94, marriage certificate)

9

to who this mail should be directed to? etc

Hi tato2017,

Thanks a lot for elaborated response.

I really appreciate it.

I've already prepared following form by myself.

  1. I-130   ($535 )
  2. I-130A
  3. I-485  ($1225)
  4. I-765
  5. G-1145

Now as per you above post I need to prepare 3 more.

I've few queries about them.

  • Form I-864

I've been working in USA on H-1B visa since Mar-2013, earning salary and filing taxes.

I've all my W2 and returns since 2014

I'm still working in USA on the same job and  my current H1-B visa is valid until Jun-25-2018.

My company is filing for one more year of extension. as I was outside of USA for 3-4 months in last 5 years.

Now my question is, as I've been earning and will be earning in near future,  should I put myself as sponsor in Form I-864?  and relationship to sponsored immigrant as SELF,

                or

Should put my wife as sponsor and fill details accordingly ?

My finances are better than my wife.

  • Form I-693

As you said that “You do not need to send with your initial application but you need have it with you during the interview”

So can I skip this form from current bundle that I need to send to chicago lock box. and keep it ready for future.

  • Form I-131

I'm in USA on valid working visa for next 4 more month and last week my company already started a VISA extension request for one more year.

Do I still have to file I-131 ?

If Yes, and I have to file I-131, then Should I ask my company to stop the H1-B visa extension request ?  Will 2 request be a problem ?

                Or

I can go on with both my personal application containing all above forms & my H1-B visa extension application, that is filed or will be filed by my company.

Hey I am in similar condition, what did you end up doing with your I-864 & I-693 ?
